Comenz\u00f3 su trayectoria profesional en 1980 en Chase Manhattan Bank (Madrid y Londres). En 1985, dirigi\u00f3 la Divisi\u00f3n de Banca de Inversi\u00f3n del Banco Santander y particip\u00f3 en el establecimiento y desarrollo del Banco Santander de Negocios, el primer banco mercantil local en Espa\u00f1a. En 1989, fue nombrado jefe de la divisi\u00f3n para grandes corporaciones en Grupo Santander y fue nombrado Director General Adjunto. En 1990, Emilio trabaj\u00f3 para Goldman Sachs en Londres y en 1995 regres\u00f3 a Santander Investment como Gerente General y Director General del \u00e1rea de Banca de Inversi\u00f3n en todo el mundo. Desde 1998 hasta 2006, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como Presidente de JP Morgan en Espa\u00f1a y Portugal. De 2006 a 2008, Emilio Saracho se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como Director Ejecutivo de JP Morgan Private Bank para EMEA. De 2009 a 2012 se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como Codirector de Banca Corporativa y de Inversi\u00f3n en JP Morgan para EMEA. De 2012 a 2015, Emilio Saracho fue Director Ejecutivo Adjunto de JP Morgan para EMEA y Presidente del Comit\u00e9 de Gesti\u00f3n para EMEA. De 2015 a 2016 fue designado como Vicepresidente y Miembro del Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo de Banca Corporativa y de Inversi\u00f3n de JP Morgan. En 2017 Emilio actu\u00f3 como presidente de Banco Popular Espa\u00f1ol.
